I am interested in artists who somehow push boundaries or reinterpret styles in such a way that they have
created a new style.

what do i like in an artist?I am interested in artists who somehow push boundaries or reinterpret styles in such a way that they have created a new style. Sometimes for whatever reason a song is just good and i like the experience of just enjoying music without having to categorize or understand everything about what went into making it. I think that this is something that comes from listening to an artist who is meaningful, expressive, aware or "soulful" with a composition or improvisation and the listener's ability to then engage themselves in the experience without a predisposition to the experience. This makes for a good artist and listening experience.new style.
